I/DD Utilization Management Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an I/DD Utilization Management Reviewer Lead, QP (Remote-NC).

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between UM Reviewers and Peer Reviewers, tracking Peer Reviews for turnaround time and quality assurance
• Summarizes monthly Peer Review data and provides analysis of UM decisions, while assisting with the development of UM-specific trainings
• Completes productivity data for the I/DD UM team and conducts internal audits to identify training needs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• A Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field
• Two (2) years of post-degree IDD experience or a Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years of post-degree IDD experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of I/DD, mental illness, and the assessment and treatment of developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of the 1915 (b)(c) waiver and psychiatric medications
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
