I/DD Utilization Management Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an I/DD Utilization Management Reviewer, QP (Remote-NC).

Key Responsibilities

• Review service plans and authorization requests for completeness and appropriateness
• Approve requests based on an auto-approval algorithm and refer others for medical necessity review
• Onboard and mentor new staff as needed and perform additional duties to support management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field
• Two (2) years of post-degree experience in I/DD services
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental illness and developmental disabilities
• Familiarity with the 1915 (b) (c) waiver and psychiatric medications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
