IAM Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support enhanced logging and monitoring initiatives, the remote IAM Security Engineer will manage Highly Privileged Access (HPA) Logging and Monitoring, collaborate with technology teams to onboard applications to Splunk, and execute functional testing while identifying and reporting defects.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions and document onboarding requirements with application owners
• Analyze log data to identify relevant events for mapping to Splunk data models and develop technology add-ons
• Develop and execute test plans for new functionality and maintain detailed test documentation

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in IAM or related Information Security domains
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with IAM technologies
• Strong understanding of Splunk Cloud and Splunk Processing Language (SPL)
• Experience working in cloud (PaaS) environments
• Knowledge of core IAM concepts including Authentication, Authorization, and RBAC
