Job Summary
Providing virtual lactation consultation services, the part-time Clinical Provider (IBCLC) will engage with prenatal and postpartum women during evening hours from 1pm to 10pm EST, adhering to evidence-based maternal health guidelines while conducting assessments and offering education on lactation and infant feeding.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth consultations, assessing patients and providing education on lactation and maternal mental health
- Document clinical findings, develop individual care plans, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and make referrals to outside providers based on patient needs
Required qualifications
- Professional certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience, including at least 2 years as a CLC/IBCLC
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred
- Active MMIS (State Medicaid) Credentials preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, healthcare quality standards, and HIPAA regulations
