Job Summary

A company is looking for a DB2 Database Administrator to support multiple customers in a Cloud operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for DB2 database maintenance and optimization
Manage database users, security privileges, and implement best practices for high availability and replication
Respond to service request tickets and conduct proactive performance monitoring and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DB2 LUW database administration in a Linux environment
Ability to work effectively in RedHat Linux and OpenShift environments
Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting operational databases and implementing automation techniques
Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, engineering, or equivalent experience
IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 or MongoDB Certified DBA is preferred
