IBM i System Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a COBOL IBM i (AS/400) System Developer to maintain and optimize COBOL-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize COBOL-based applications on IBM i (AS/400) for system stability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues, implementing effective solutions
• Contribute technical expertise to the strategic migration from IBM i to Hyland's OnBase WorkView platform

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of development and support of COBOL applications on IBM i (AS/400)
• At least 5 years of strong experience with CL, DDS, and DB2 for i (SQL)
• At least 5 years of experience working with IBM i tools such as Access Client Solutions (ACS) and Navigator for i
• At least 5 years of experience with batch processing and job scheduling
• Ability to work alternative schedules for planned maintenance and urgent troubleshooting
