Job Summary

A company is looking for an IBM I Systems Administrator to support hosted and remote IBM i customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement PTF's, patches, upgrades, and updates for IBM i systems and software
  • Manage security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning for IBM i machines
  • Document standard procedures and communicate with customers regarding issues and requests
Required Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of experience with IBM i operations and management for medium to large installations
  • Familiarity with IBM i PTF's and change control procedures
  • Experience with ACS, IBM i Navigator, and 5250 emulation
  • Experience working with all major versions of Windows Server
  • Experience with Oracle JDEdwards EnterpriseOne is a plus
