IBM Maximo Applications Developer

Job Summary

Analyzing complex business challenges, the full-time Staff Enterprise Applications Developer - IBM Maximo will design, develop, and support applications on the IBM Maximo platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support applications on the IBM Maximo platform, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Build and support integrations with enterprise systems using Web Services, REST/SOAP, and Maximo Integration Framework
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications, integrations, workflows, and reporting while creating validation documents and test plans

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8-12 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 5-7 years of experience, or a PhD with 2-4 years of experience
• Extensive experience with IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and customization
• Proficiency in Python, Jython, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for automation and integrations
• Experience building complex BIRT reports and implementing workflow processes
• Strong understanding of database systems, especially DB2, and comfort with REST/JSON integrations
