Job Summary

Seeking an experienced IBM MQ Systems Programmer for a contract position, the role will manage and support enterprise IBM MQ infrastructure on a z/OS mainframe, focusing on queue management, troubleshooting, and contributing to modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise IBM MQ infrastructure within a z/OS mainframe environment
• Create, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot queue managers and queues for mission-critical applications
• Resolve production and test environment issues while ensuring platform stability and availability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 6 years of IT experience, including systems programming experience
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM MQ for z/OS (Mainframe)
• Experience creating, administering, and maintaining queue managers and queues
• Strong knowledge of JCL
