Job Summary

A company is looking for an IBM Service Support Technician II to provide Level 2 technical support for IBM systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2 support for IBM systems, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Monitor system performance and conduct routine maintenance, including firmware updates and backups
  • Respond to incidents and service requests, documenting troubleshooting steps and participating in root cause analysis
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Level 2 technical support for IBM systems
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Power Systems, zSeries, and storage solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • IBM Certified Specialist and ITIL v3/v4 certification preferred
  • In-depth experience with Power Server platforms and familiarity with ITIL-based case management systems
