I&C Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an I&C Design Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee projects with competing design objectives and constraints
• Develop and review system- and component-level specifications and technical documents
• Identify, specify, and integrate custom instrumentation with advanced control systems

Key Qualifications and Skills

• B.S. or higher degree in Controls, Electrical, or a related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of direct experience in instrumentation and controls systems design
• Experience in I&C development and diagnostics, preferably in nuclear reactor safety
• Familiarity with IEEE and IEC standards and nuclear power plant quality assurance practices
• Proficient in CAD software tools for design deliverables
