IC Design Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the implementation of new technologies in consumer electronic devices, the full-time IC Design Engineer will manage synthesis and timing of complex designs while interfacing with RTL and other internal teams to ensure quality delivery and timing closure.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead synthesis and timing closure for complex designs, ensuring quality RTL delivery
• Develop full chip and block constraints, and manage synthesis and static timing analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on physical implementation and power-intent requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 12+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 10+ years of related experience
• Extensive experience with frontend tools such as Primerime, DC, VCLP, and Formality
• Proven track record of multiple tapeouts and strong knowledge of timing closure processes
• Proficiency in Tcl scripting for automation and tool integration
• Experience with low power checks and methodology development for synthesis and STA
