I&C Engineer IV

Job Summary

To support the design and development of advanced nuclear reactor systems, the remote I&C Engineer IV will focus on digital Instrumentation & Controls engineering, including system design, engineering analyses, and multidisciplinary coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review engineering deliverables such as one-line diagrams, logic diagrams, and design documents
• Lead complex engineering assignments from concept through implementation while ensuring compliance with NRC regulations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred) from an ABET-accredited university
• Minimum 8 years of commercial nuclear experience in design or systems engineering
• Strong experience designing digital Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) systems
• Knowledge of NRC regulations and commercial nuclear design requirements
• Experience preparing engineering calculations, specifications, and technical reports
