I&C Human Factors Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting an advanced nuclear program, the contract I&C Human Factors Engineer will integrate Human Factors Engineering into digital control systems and human-system interfaces, collaborating remotely with engineering and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integration of Human Factors Engineering into digital I&C systems and human-system interfaces
• Design and support the development of control room interfaces, displays, and control systems
• Develop and review technical documentation, ensuring compliance with nuclear regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• M.S. or PhD in Human Factors, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or 8+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in I&C engineering for complex or nuclear systems
• Experience designing digital control/monitoring systems and Human-System Interfaces (HSIs)
• 3+ years applying Human Factors principles to workstation and panel design
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver industrial I&C platforms
