I&C V&V Design Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the planning and execution of digital I&C V&V activities for assigned Natrium systems, the contract I&C V&V Design Engineer will work remotely to develop V&V schedules, coordinate tasks, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of V&V activities in accordance with applicable standards and system-specific plans
• Coordinate V&V tasks, schedules, budgets, and deliverables, including test plans and closure documentation
• Mentor V&V engineers and collaborate with engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Controls, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• 0+ years of experience in instrumentation & controls, V&V, or related fields
• Experience in planning and executing V&V for high-integrity digital systems
• Knowledge of QA/QC programs and nuclear quality standards such as 10 CFR 50 Appendix B
• Strong technical leadership and organizational skills
