Job Summary

ICD-10 Certified Medical Coder, this is a full-time temporary position focused on coding hospice episodes in accordance with Medicare and ICD-10 guidelines, requiring hospice and coding experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes ICD-10 coding of hospice episodes based on medical history and physician input
• Maintains compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college coursework in business or related field preferred
• ICD-10 Coding certified or pending certification
• Minimum of two years of office or related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
• Knowledge of personnel management, record keeping, and office administration
• Must have and maintain in good standing any required professional license or certification
