Job Summary
Supporting upcoming technical medical translation projects, the contract Icelandic Linguist will perform translation, editing, QA, and MTPE tasks remotely from the US.
Key responsibilities
- Translate and edit technical medical content from English to Icelandic
- Conduct quality assurance and post-editing for machine translation outputs
- Utilize MemoQ for managing translation workflows effectively
Required qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Icelandic
- Strong command of English as the source language
- Experience with translation, editing, QA, and MTPE workflows
- Familiarity with MemoQ translation software
- Previous experience with technical medical-related content is a plus
