Icelandic Medical Translator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Icelandic to English Medical Linguist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate from Icelandic into English using appropriate medical vocabulary while maintaining the source material's tone and style
• Adhere to the Style Guide while ensuring terminology consistency and data accuracy

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in medical translations, including medical claims, patient records, and medical reports
• Broad medical vocabulary and proficiency in utilizing linguistic assets
• Native and/or near-native fluency in both Icelandic and English
• Ability to work under deadlines and deliver on time
