Job Summary
A company is looking for an ICS Cybersecurity Specialist to support the U.S. Department of Energy's cybersecurity initiatives in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical consulting to DOE personnel on energy system engineering and operational technology cybersecurity
- Contribute to programmatic activities, including the design of funding and training opportunities
- Manage program processes, including pre-selection, project negotiations, and post-award evaluations
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years in electric distribution utility operations or engineering, and 2+ years in cybersecurity; or 10+ years of combined experience in electric utility operations and ICS/OT cybersecurity
- Understanding of market availability and pricing of current ICS/OT and IT cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Experience with electric cooperative or public power distribution utilities that are not NERC registered entities is preferred
- Advanced degree and certifications are a plus
