Idaho Licensed Care Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Idaho Care Manager (ICC-Youth), Idaho Licensed.

Key Responsibilities

• Authorize and review utilization of mental health and substance abuse services in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Assist with discharge planning and care coordination while providing member assistance for mental health and substance abuse issues
• Participate in quality improvement activities, including data collection, tracking, and analysis

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current Idaho state clinical license (CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN)
• Minimum of 2 years of post-degree experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse settings
• Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse
• Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
• Understanding of DSM V or the most current diagnostic edition
