Idaho Licensed Care Manager

Job Summary

To support mental health and substance abuse services, the remote Idaho Licensed Care Manager will manage utilization reviews, discharge planning, and member assistance while ensuring compliance with medical necessity criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Monitors inpatient and outpatient services to ensure medical necessity and effectiveness
• Provides telephone triage, crisis intervention, and emergency authorizations as needed
• Develops and implements discharge plans in collaboration with providers and facilities

Required qualifications

• Current Idaho licensure as CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN
• Minimum of 2 years of post-degree experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings
• Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient care environments
• Ability to analyze utilization problems and implement effective solutions
