Job Summary

Executing underwriting activities in a structured environment, the full-time Idaho Licensed Inside Underwriter will evaluate risk, apply carrier guidelines, and manage the underwriting process for new and renewal business remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business within binding authority and brokerage markets, evaluating risk and determining terms
• Manage the end-to-end underwriting process, including submissions, quoting, binding, and policy confirmation
• Negotiate coverage terms with carriers and resolve underwriting and coverage issues by analyzing risk characteristics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant insurance designation preferred
• Experience in underwriting or brokering specialty or E&S insurance products
• Appropriate state-specific insurance license required
• Strong understanding of underwriting principles and risk evaluation
• Ability to manage high-volume underwriting workflows with accuracy and efficiency
