Idaho Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director (Behavioral Health) for a remote position in Idaho.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the interdisciplinary Medical Management team, ensuring coordinated care for at-risk patients
• Develop and implement a Utilization Management program to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care
• Establish effective working relationships with practitioners and provider facilities, addressing quality of care concerns and compliance with standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with U.S. internship and residency completion
• Successful completion of the ECFMG and FLEX examinations
• At least 3 years of post-residency clinical experience with direct patient care
• Current and valid unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state or territory
• Experience in cost-benefit analysis, medical decision analysis, and quality improvement processes (preferred)
