Idaho Licensed Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Idaho Licensed Mortgage Underwriter will underwrite mortgage loans in accordance with agency policies, assist loan officers and processors with inquiries, and address internal and external audit findings efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to various agency underwriting policies and procedures
• Assist loan officers and processors by answering questions and solving problems
• Respond to internal and external QC audit findings in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

• Three years of underwriting experience
• Experience with FHA/Conventional loans; VA/USDA experience highly preferred
• Multi-state licensing highly preferred
• Proficiency with Byte Loan Origination Software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to calculate income via W-2/Tax Returns
