Job Summary

To advance clean nuclear energy, the contract Nuclear Engineer will work remotely, leveraging a technical degree and over 5 years of reactor operations and HFE experience to design safer plant controls and support the development of operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Review, test, and validate human-system interfaces using simulators and plant operating procedures
• Support the creation of high-quality operating procedures and robust operator training programs
• Analyze complex requirements for plant control and integrate design specifications into engineering documents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
• Active RO license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in reactor operations and human factors engineering
• Experience with testing and reliability in nuclear systems
