Idaho Licensed Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

Processing referrals for ambulatory services, the full-time Idaho Licensed Referral Coordinator will handle internal and external referrals, obtain prior authorizations, and schedule patients while working day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Process internal, incoming, and external referrals for ambulatory services, procedures, and medications
• Obtain prior authorizations, schedule patients, and manage inbound and outbound phone calls
• Communicate with patients via online chat to facilitate the referral process

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
