Identity and Access Management Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Identity & Access Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the IAM function, enhancing and maturing the organization's IAM program to align with business objectives and security goals
• Develop and implement a comprehensive IAM strategy, including roadmap development and budget oversight
• Partner with IT and security teams to identify risks and recommend solutions for effective access controls and identity management practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year program (experience may substitute for education)
• 10+ years of relevant work experience, with 5+ years focused on identity and access management and 3+ years in people management
• Extensive experience with IAM concepts such as Zero Trust, access control policies, and IAM technologies
• Practical experience securing identity and access in cloud environments
• Deep understanding of IAM frameworks and standards, including SOC II, HIPAA, and NIST
