Identity and Access Management Engineer

Job Summary

As a critical member of the Identity & Access Management team, the remote Business Technology Engineer II will own and optimize Samsara's Okta environments, design and support integrations using Workato, and administer Google Workspace, while ensuring compliance with StateRAMP/FedRAMP controls.

Key responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and optimize Okta environments, including SSO integrations and access policy governance
• Design and support automations using Workato and manage the OWL-IT AI-powered IT service delivery platform
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex IT incidents and lead Identity & Access Management initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT Systems Engineering with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Okta
• Demonstrated experience with automation using Workato or similar iPaaS platforms
• Proficiency in REST APIs (Python preferred) for integration and automation development
• Experience administering Google Workspace and supporting Identity & Access Management solutions
