Identity Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Identity Engineer working in a hybrid environment, the successful candidate will own the authentication and authorization layer that secures AI-to-enterprise connections, architecting systems for OAuth 2.0 and integrating with enterprise identity providers.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and implement authentication and authorization systems for MCP servers, including OAuth 2.0 and token management
• Build and extend the OAuth broker for enterprise identity integrations across various vendors
• Collaborate with customers to address real-world identity challenges and contribute to the MCP Auth specification

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on identity, authentication, or authorization systems
• Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0/OIDC, including Dynamic Client Registration and token exchange
• Experience with enterprise identity systems such as Okta, WorkOS, or AWS IAM
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and API security
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
