Identity Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Identity Engineer will manage day-to-day administration and support of client hybrid identity environments, focusing on account lifecycle accuracy, directory synchronization health, and identity-related incident response.
Key responsibilities
- Provision and de-provision user and group accounts in on-premises Active Directory while ensuring correct OU placement
- Execute and maintain Identity Lifecycle automation, validating automated actions and remediating exceptions
- Monitor and triage Entra Connect synchronization errors and respond to identity service disruptions
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience administering Active Directory in a production environment
- Hands-on experience with hybrid identity and Entra Connect synchronization
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID administration, including licensing and attribute management
- Practical experience supporting multifactor authentication and Conditional Access troubleshooting
- PowerShell proficiency for directory administration and reporting
