Job Summary
Providing cybersecurity-focused technical leadership, the full-time remote Identity Management Developer (CEMI) will design, implement, and improve identity services while ensuring secure and effective delivery of authentication and authorization services for Cornell University's IT Security Office.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement identity management solutions, ensuring security and reliability across various applications and services
- Serve as a liaison between IT Security Office, campus units, and external partners to communicate service capabilities and processes
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to evolve identity management solutions and stay current with emerging technologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated expertise in scripting or programming languages such as Java, Python, or ReactJS
- Approximately 1 year of professional experience developing ReactJS applications or Ruby on Rails
- System administration experience with Linux and familiarity with identity and access management technologies
- Proven ability to communicate complex identity management concepts to non-technical stakeholders
