Identity & Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a forward-thinking organization, the remote Identity & Security Engineer will design and implement the identity, access, and security foundation for the Human-Led AI Orchestration Layer, ensuring secure authorization and compliance across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage authentication using Clerk and design RBAC and permission models for workflows
• Integrate identity flows with FastAPI backend services and support secure authentication in React + TypeScript applications
• Implement security best practices, document identity architecture, and ensure compliance for multi-tenant SaaS use cases

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization in web applications
• Strong experience with Clerk or equivalent identity providers
• Deep understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and session management
• Experience with FastAPI (Python) backend systems
• Frontend integration experience with React + TypeScript
