IIoT Controls Integration Engineer
Job Summary
To support IIoT integration projects, the full-time IIoT Controls Integration Engineer will manage the selection of machine controllers, document processes, and create technical documentation while working remotely in the USA.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and select protocols and compatible OT hardware for IIoT applications integration
- Create and document system designs, integration plans, and user manuals for IIoT systems
- Manage IIoT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring milestones and timelines are met
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant experience with PLCs and IIoT integration
- Proficiency in programming with C++ or Python
- Experience with industrial communication standards and protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, and Ethernet/IP
- Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting OPC Servers for data exchange
- Understanding of network security practices and industrial networking protocols
