IIS Administrator
Job Summary
To support the Infrastructure & Operations team, the contract IIS Administrator will manage and maintain Internet Information Services (IIS) on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of web applications and services in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IIS on Windows Server instances across AWS environments
- Monitor IIS performance, troubleshoot errors, and optimize configurations for stability and speed
- Deploy and manage Windows Server instances (EC2) in AWS environments and implement infrastructure-as-code for IIS deployments
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with IIS management and administration on Windows Server
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, and CloudFormation or Terraform
- Experience implementing IIS security best practices and managing SSL/TLS certificates
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and backup strategies for web applications
- Ability to monitor costs and optimize AWS resource usage
