IL Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To provide virtual therapy to college students, the part-time IL Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments remotely, with flexible scheduling options available between 8:00 AM and 12:00 AM Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments
• Engage with patients through a collaboration portal and document clinical encounters for effective care coordination
• Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary

Required qualifications

• Valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in IL; multi-state licensure is a plus
• 1+ years of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting
• Expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students
• Experience with culturally responsive treatment and diverse patient groups
• Access to a quality video camera and stable internet connection for virtual care
