Illinois Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced professional, the full-time Illinois Accounting Specialist will manage financial operations in SAP, ensure tax compliance, support reporting obligations, and maintain accurate accounting records while based in Glendale Heights, IL.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial accounting operations in SAP, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and support budget and forecasting cycles
• Reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts monthly and assist with internal audits and compliance deadlines

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting and administration, with SAP experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax reporting requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• High level of discretion when handling sensitive information
