Job Summary
To support a growing network of schools, the fully remote Illinois Certified ASL Educator will deliver virtual instruction for ASL I courses, develop lesson plans, and engage students through creative teaching strategies on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform for ASL I classes
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and track student performance
- Engage and nurture student learning through relationship-focused strategies
Required qualifications
- Active, USA state-issued teaching certification in ASL
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet
- Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submission of a background check
