Illinois Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing Consumer Bankruptcy practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Associate Attorney will represent clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases, prepare legal documents, and attend court proceedings while working in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in consumer bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases
• Prepare, review, and file bankruptcy petitions and related legal documents
• Attend court proceedings and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Required qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible to obtain licensure
• Strong interpersonal and client-relations skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
• Passion for helping individuals and eagerness to learn in bankruptcy law
