Job Summary
Managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, the full-time Illinois Licensed Associate Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct legal analysis of claims and draft substantial briefs, memos, and pleadings
- Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions while preparing for trials
- Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver strategic legal advice and manage deadlines
Required qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Illinois; additional bar admissions are a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant practice area
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
