Illinois Licensed Bridge Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership in a fully remote capacity, the Illinois Licensed Bridge Engineer will design and deliver complex bridge infrastructure projects while managing project delivery and mentoring staff to support future expansion efforts throughout Illinois.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee high-profile bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects
• Manage project delivery and ensure compliance with Illinois transportation standards
• Mentor engineering staff and contribute to the growth of regional operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license preferred
• 8-15+ years of bridge engineering and transportation structure design experience
• Strong experience with IDOT bridge projects
• Proficiency in bridge design software such as MicroStation and OpenBridge Designer
