Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Advocate Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiates telephonic contact with injured workers, employers, and medical providers to obtain treatment plans and assess return-to-work status
• Documents medical conditions, treatment plans, and return-to-work statuses within the claim system
• Functions as a nurse consultant to the claims team, identifying urgent situations and making recommendations for medical follow-up

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' clinical nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current unencumbered RN Licensure in state of residency and practicing state(s)
• Knowledge of early intervention practices in Workers' Compensation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
