Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant Medication Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform delegated clinical and administrative duties in accordance with Medical Assistant training
• Handle high volumes of inbound calls for medical refills and follow-up questions
• Provide clerical support and assist in patient care activities under the direction of the physician/provider

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of a Medical Assistant training program
• At least 6 months of experience in a Certified Medical Assistant role or equivalent on-the-job training
• Current certification from an approved certifying agency (e.g., AAMA, AMT, NCCT)
• Preferred experience as a medical office assistant or CNA, and familiarity with electronic health records
• If in a Rural Health Clinic setting, BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required
