Illinois Licensed Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Illinois Licensed Claims Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims while determining policy coverage and compensation amounts.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and review pet medical histories in collaboration with veterinary hospitals and policyholders
• Investigate and process assigned insurance claims, verifying coverage and compensation amounts
• Update Explanation of Benefits (EOB), and manage claim payments and closures

Required qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic
• Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience, or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
• Must have and maintain an Adjuster's license or obtain one within 90 days of hire
