Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Claims Adjuster - Associate will investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims while determining policy coverage and appropriate compensation amounts.
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and review pet medical histories in collaboration with veterinary hospitals and policyholders
- Investigate and process assigned insurance claims, verifying coverage and compensation amounts
- Update Explanation of Benefits (EOB), process payments, and close claims
Required qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic
- Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience, or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Must have and maintain an Adjuster's license or obtain one within 90 days of hire
- Must be a resident of the United States
