Job Summary
A company is looking for a RN - Clinical Document Integrity Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts inpatient chart reviews to ensure accurate DRG assignment and documentation
- Coordinates with healthcare staff to identify and record diagnoses and procedures
- Educates peers and providers on Clinical Document Integrity topics as needed
Required Qualifications
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois
- Associate's Degree in a related field
- Experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) and clinical bedside care
- Familiarity with CDI software and electronic health record systems
