Job Summary
To enhance clinical education within the department, the full-time Illinois Licensed Clinical Educator will coordinate and implement educational programs for staff, provide bedside training, and ensure competency through skill validation while working onsite in Urbana, Illinois.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and lead evidence-based educational programs for clinical staff to promote competency and professional development
- Conduct routine audits and needs assessments to identify and address educational gaps and ensure compliance with training requirements
- Facilitate orientation and onboarding processes for new employees, while serving as a resource for clinical practice issues
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography in Illinois and Registered in Radiography (R) with ARRT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor certification within 3 months
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience in facilitating learning in a clinical environment
