Illinois Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support specialty medication management, the full-time Illinois Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will provide clinical guidance and evidence-based expertise for prior authorization and appeals processes, working remotely within the U.S. while ensuring high-quality, cost-efficient care.

Key responsibilities:

• Support utilization review determinations for specialty medication populations to promote optimal clinical outcomes
• Provide clinical expertise in the development and continuous improvement of specialty medication utilization management programs
• Conduct dosage-based clinical reviews and pre-service reviews to assess medical necessity and adherence to established guidelines

Required qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Pharm D with an unrestricted license in the state of residence
• 3+ years of clinical experience, including working with evidence-based medicine related to specialty medications
• 2+ years of experience administering and advising on specialty medication treatment plans
• 2+ years of hospital experience
• Access to a designated quiet workspace with high-speed internet for secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI)
