Illinois Licensed Clinical Pharmacist Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Infusion Patient Access team, the full-time Illinois Licensed Clinical Pharmacist Specialist will focus on resolving claim denials and developing drug reimbursement strategies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support and collaborate with the Pharmacy Denials Specialist to optimize the claim denials program
- Analyze drug reimbursement data and present findings to pharmacy and revenue cycle leaders
- Assist with cross-coverage for oncology Clinical Pharmacist Specialists during extended vacations
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
- Significant expertise in hospital drug reimbursement and claim denials resolution
- Clinical pharmacy experience (2-4 years) in a hospital care setting
- Eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in Illinois and Indiana
- Completion of ASHP accredited PGY-1 and/or PGY-2 Pharmacy Residency
