Illinois Licensed Commercial Litigator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Illinois Licensed Commercial Litigator to support a commercial loan enforcement matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of a commercial loan default and enforcement matter on behalf of an investment company
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other submissions in Illinois state and/or federal court
• Develop and execute litigation strategy in coordination with the client and any outside counsel

Qualifications

• Active Illinois bar license in good standing (required)
• 5+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on commercial litigation, loan enforcement, creditor rights, or financial disputes
• Experience managing matters independently and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
• Prior experience representing lenders, investors, or financial institutions is strongly preferred
