Job Summary
To support a sophisticated real estate practice, the remote Illinois Licensed Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will assist attorneys with complex transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing, while managing all aspects of the closing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financing, leasing, and development projects
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and due diligence materials
- Prepare, revise, and organize real estate closing documents, closing checklists, and transaction binders
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Strong understanding of commercial acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions
- Experience reviewing title and survey materials and managing real estate due diligence
- Familiarity with UCC filings, entity formations, and corporate governance documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
